For ten days, 24 of the best Counter-Strike teams from around the world fought for the trophy at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) in Cologne. We were there live at the play-offs from August 4th to 6th in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne.
A total of 6,000 visitors came to the festival at Rheinterassen in Cologne on September 20th and 21st. The organizers were Deutsche Telekom, SK Gaming and the esports player foundation, which are committed to greater equality, diversity and inclusion in esports.
